Fight antisemitism and white supremacy,
Not Palestine solidarity
#NoIHRA
The Palestine solidarity movement is facing an unprecedented threat.
The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance Working Definition of Antisemitism (IHRA-WDA) is designed to silence criticism of Israel and of Zionism by equating this criticism with antisemitism.
Yet since antisemitism is a type of racism, it must be opposed in solidarity with other anti-racist struggles. The real fight against antisemitism must be joined to the struggle for equality and human rights for all people in Canada, in Israel-Palestine and around the world.

Pro-Israel lobbyists and government officials are pushing IHRA to shield Israel from criticism while it carries out a genocide that has to date killed over 55,000 Palestinians. Their latest tool? The Canadian Handbook on the IHRA Working Definition of Antisemitism.
IJV’s latest resource, Silenced in Our Name: A Jewish Commentary on Canada’s IHRA Handbook will walk you through the Canadian Handbook section-by-section. It breaks down arguments for IHRA’s implementation, and highlights sections that go above and beyond any previous definitions of antisemitism for the purpose of criminalizing anti-Zionism.
Unveiling the Chilly Climate
IJV has gathered research about the repression faced by academics, students and Palestine solidarity activists, collecting approximately 80 testimonies describing the resulting “chilling effect” in Canada. This report is the first of its kind anywhere in the world.
5 Principles For Dismantling Antisemitism
From opposing the dangerously flawed IHRA definition to the welcome improvements of the Jerusalem Declaration, defining antisemitism does not do the work of dismantling antisemitism. To create safety and freedom for all, including Jews, we offer these principles and steps.
